Buying a home can be both an exciting and scary time! With my expertise, I will make sure to guide you through the process and find you a home that meets your needs!
As an agent, I have access to thousands of homes in the MLS (Multiple Listing Service). I am able to easily search within your criteria and obtain pertinent information FAST! The MLS allows brokers to share their inventory with other brokers, so any property in the system (no matter what company its through) is available for view.
THE SHOWING PROCESS, NEGOTIATIONS
When we’ve identified properties you’d like to view, just leave it up to me to schedule the showing. I’m happy to schedule a time that works best for you to go and view any home you would like. Once you’ve found your dream home, I will sit down with you to assist in producing an offer. As your agent, I can help guide you on whether or not a home is priced right, or if we need to offer a lower price. Of course, negotiations can get sticky, what with counter-offers, inspections, etc, but fear not, I can help!
If you aren’t able to pay cash for your home (which, let’s face it, most of us aren’t!), it will be extremely advantageous for you to have a letter of pre-approval from a lender. This is important, because at the time of an offer, this pre-approval letter gives you almost the same clout as a cash offer. Of course, the approval will be subject to the home appraising at the sales price, but the seller will know that you are a serious qualified buyer!
